Starting a new job can feel exciting and overwhelming. Clear, friendly language on day one helps people feel included and ready to contribute. Below is a preview from our Job Orientation guide, a simple English–Spanish script you can use to welcome new hires and set expectations.
Try these starter lines
Welcome and introductions
English: “Welcome to [Company Name]! My name is [Your Name]. What’s your name?”
Español: “¡Bienvenido/a a [Nombre de la Empresa]! Mi nombre es [Tu Nombre]. ¿Cómo te llamas?”
Ask about the role
English: “What will my role be here?”
Español: “¿Cuál será mi función aquí?”
Company culture
English: “What is the company culture like? Are there any social activities or events I should attend?”
